XL—REPORT OF THE BURIAL BOARD.
Vestry Hall, Harrow Road,
6th June, 1894.
Sir,
I am instructed by the Burial Board to transmit
to you Statements in abstract of the Account of the
Board, and of the Incumbent of Paddington, for the
Year ending 25th March, 1894, certified by Mr. Wilde
(of Messrs. Wilde and Venables, Chartered Accountants),
and audited by the Parochial Auditors.
A Statement showing the amount of Fees received
by the Incumbent and the Board during the last three
years is likewise appended.
Owing to the very considerable expense incurred
in improving the Cemetery drainage system (£1,122),
the Board were unable to pay anything to the Vestry
Account. The amount paid over since 1870 still
stands at £42,100.
The following shows the number of burials which
took place from the 31st March, 1893, to the 1st
April, 1894:—
