BOROUGH OF PADDINGTON.
The undermentioned works have been executed by
the Vestry's own Staff of Artizans employed at the
Works Department: —
Smiths and Farriers Work.—For the Department
all the sundry ironwork for repairs to carts,
vans, water vans, machinery, buildings, shoeing and
general smithy work. For the Highway Department
530 pickaxes were lined and steeled; 13,931 pickaxes,
2,179 chisels and 6 paving hammers were sharpened,
3 paving hammer heads steeled, and sundry miscellaneous
repairs to other articles and tools.
Carts, Vans, and Water Vans.—All the requisite
repairs and painting.
Harness.—The making of new sets and general
repairs.
Paddington Green.
This Recreation Ground has been attended to by
the Gardeners during the year. The old corrugated
Watchmen's house has been replaced by an ornamental
one of modern construction.
St. Marys Churchyard, Northern Portion.
By agreement made on the 26th April, 1892,
between the Revd. Walter Abbott, Vicar, of the
Vicarage and Parish Church of Paddington, and the
Vestry of Paddington, it was agreed:—
