the parish, and the same to the Amberley Road
Board Schools; the whole of the drainage being rearranged
in accordance with plans submitted and approved
by the Vestry.
A portion of the premises belonging to the late
Mr. G. Gutch, adjoining Porteus House, Porteus
Road, has been acquired and appropriated for the
erection of a new drill hall and exercise ground for the
3rd Middlesex Volunteer Artillery.
A new mission hall in connection with Emmanuel
Church, Harrow Road, has been erected adjoining the
church for the Reverend Mr. Farraker.
An addition to the Jewish Schools on the south
side of Harrow Road, west of Bridge House, has been
carried out, and the new building drained into an
existing Inspection chamber on the premises.
One hundred and one houses have been erected in
addition to the before-mentioned buildings. Notices
with plans have been submitted to the Vestry for the
drainage of these houses, which were inspected in the
usual manner before the trenches were filled in.
Applications have been made by private persons to
the London County Council and the Vestry for permission
to erect additions of various kinds to existing
buildings, &c., which had reference to the general line
of frontage as follows:—
