Metropolis Management Act, 1862, Amendment
Act, 1890.
Under this Act a Street Improvement was effected
in the Parish, by putting in force the powers with
respect to the partially flagged footways in "Porchester
Terrace," from Uxbridge Road to Bishop's Road.
These were flagged throughout the whole length and
breadth thereof, and the cost of flagging the gravelled
portions of these footways was apportioned by the
Vestry on the 5th July, 1892, upon the Owners of the
houses and land bounding or abutting upon such
street. The same was demanded and recovered by
the Accountant in my Department, and the sum of
£500 6s, 6d. paid to the Vestry General Account.
