BOROUGH OF PADDINGTON.
XXXV. Housing of the Working Classes Act.
At the instigation of Paddington, several meetings
of Delegates from various Vestries and District
Boards in the Metropolis were held, under the Presidency
of Mr. Mark H. Judge, for the purpose of
considering the above-mentioned measure, and carefully
framed Resolutions were passed and forwarded
to the Sanitary Authorities of London for their
information and guidance.
The works, Sanitary and otherwise, carried out
during the year, appear in the Reports of the
respective Officers, hereunto annexed, together with
the Reports of the Burial Board and Commissioners
of Baths and Wash-houses, and such Reports are
followed by the documents required by the 198th
Sec. of the Metropolis Local Management Act.
