MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
For the Year 1890.
To the Vestry of the Parish of Paddington.
Gentlemen,
With the return of the Census year the opportunity
recurs of determining with approximate accuracy
the birth and death-rates in the Parish, of revising the
estimates previously made, and of answering with
greater precision and trustworthiness the questions
which, with multiplied diversity, the study of vital
statistics suggests.
For statistical purposes, the Registrar-General
estimates the population to the middle of the year,
