BOROUGH OF PADDINGTON.
WARD No. 8 :—All that portion of tho said Parish which
lies South of Ward No. 1 and a line drawn from the boundary of
such Ward Southward along tho centre of Westbourne Terrace,
Sussex Gardens, and Westbourne Street, and thence in a direct
lino to the boundary of tho said Parish.
WARD No. 4 :—All that portion of the said Parish which is
not comprised within tho foregoing descriptions of tho other
Wards.
For the purposes of Rato Collection, Ward No. 2 has been
sub-divided as follows :—
Division No. 2a East:—All that portion of the Ward lying
North of the canal and South of a lino drawn through tho centre
of Sutherland Avenue from Harrow Road to Shirland Road, and
East of a lino drawn along the centre of Shirland Road from
Sutherland Avenue to Kilburn Park Road.
Division No. 2a West :—All that portion of tho Ward lying
North of a lino drawn along tho centre of Sutherland Avenue
from Harrow Road to Shirland Road, and West of a lino drawn
along tho centre of Shirland Road from Sutherland Avenue to
Kilburn Park Road.
Division No. 2b :—All that portion of tho Ward lying South
of tho lino of the Grand Junction and Regents Canals from Maida
Vale to Lock Bridgo, Harrow Road.

Tho population of Paddington, at the Census taken in 189l
(unrevisod) was as follows, viz.:—
