also the restoring of all disturbed places consequent
upon new services for Gas and Water Companies
drains, scaffolding, and hoardings, have been carried
out by the Vestry's staff of workmen. One mile, one
furlong, and 191 yards lineal of old footways have
been thus treated, 7,216 yards super of wood paving
renewed, and 1,223 yards super of channel and
carriageway paving re-laid.
The Vestry's power under the 105th Section of
the Metropolis Local Management Act has been
carried out in Tamplin Mews.
The total length of roadways under the Vestry's maintenance is 49 miles, six furlongs, and 198 yards.
