the gardeners, and they have been very successful in
saving several thousand bedding-out plants, which
will afford much pleasure and attraction to the
numerous visitors frequenting these healthful places of
resort.
The accompanying accounts and details will furnish
additional information in connection with the work
carried out by this department.

The repairs embraces work in connection with the 20-horse power engine, sifting machine, slop tank, water meter, stand-posts, general smithing work for repairs to carts, water vans, sanding, sweeping and scraping machines, horse shoeing and making, miscellaneous repairs, and the following work for the Highway Department:—

Pickaxes lined and Steeled.Tools Sharpened.Paving Hammers lined.
Pickaxes.Chisels.Paving Hammers.
