REPORT, 1887-8.
Hay Crop.—The expenses attending mowing,
stacking, and carting, &c, being £24 17s. 6d. From
this amount £5 is taken off as received for the afterfeed,
thus making the total expenses £19 17s. 6d.;
the value of the hay at the contract price, £4 per ton,
being £54, the actual gain to the Vestry being
£34 2s. 6d.
Artizans Work.—The general works, repairs, &c.,
have been carried out by the following artizans at the
Vestry's Depot:—The millwright, engineer, wheelwright,
farriers, smiths, and harness maker.
