Street Orderly Boys.—The employment of these
boys to collect the horse droppings, and the use of
the street orderly bins, tends to keep the streets
clean and wholesome, and prevents a large amount
of dust that would otherwise be flying about to the
annoyance of the public. An extension of this plan
for keeping clean all the principal wood-paved roads
and streets would be an improvement on the present
system of sweeping.
The accompanying accounts and tables will
furnish details and. information in connection Avith
the before-mentioned works:—
