Carts.—During the year, twelve new slop carts
and six new material carts were purchased from
Messrs. Glover, of Warwick; one four-wheeled slop
van, three slop carts, and all the necessary repairs
to all the carts and wheels, with the exception of
tyring, being executed by the Vestry's own artizans.
Harness.—Twelve new sets of harness (with the
exception of collars and housings), and all the
necessary repairs have been executed on the works.
Farrier and Smiths' Work.—During the year the
following work has been carried out at the depot,
viz. : The making of horseshoes, shoeing, general
repairs of machinery, &c., and ironwork for new
carts and repairs, smiths' work required by the Highway
Department, comprising 657 pickaxes lined and
