congratulation that the sanitary condition of the sewers is improving
year by year, and that we are surely and steadily carrying out
a system of automatic flushing which I believe is not attempted
as yet in any part of the Metropolis. Below I give a complete
list of the flushing tanks constructed in the sewers up to the 25th
of March last. In the present year's estimate I included 13 flushing
tanks in Lewi sham, and 2 in Penge in addition to these.
