road improvements.
The improvement at the junction of Park and Stanstead
Roads, at York House, was completed, and the road improvement
at the junction of Kirkdale and Jews' Walk, was again under
discussion, but on account of the sum asked for the land, nothing
came of it; but the line of kerb was altered, in order to widen the
pathway of Jews' Walk. A small improvement was carried out in
widening the pathway in the Bromley Road, opposite Rosenthal.

Plans, estimates, and apportionments were prepared, and submitted,
for paving and forming the following New Streets, under
the 105th section ot the Metropolis Local Management Act:—
Only one side of Auckland Road was paved and formed. These Streets
When completed will make an additional length of 2 miles 860 yards to the
Roads maintained by the Board.
