Bang a Report for the year 1884 on the Vital and Sanitary
condition of the Parish of Lambeth.
Gentlemen,
During the year 1884 an inspection has been made of
the houses situated in the courts and small streets in the Parish
of Lambeth, constituting the dwellings of the laboring classes.
The work was carried out by your Sanitary Inspectors with the
assistance of six men temporarily engaged for the purpose.
The inquiry was directed to the Sanitary condition of the
interior and external surroundings of the houses inspected.
