STATEMENT OF W0RK8 AND IMPROVEMENTS
Carried out under the direction of the General Purposes Committee, during
the year ending 25th March, 1872.
Wyndham Road.—New 12 × C kerb, and in. York paving
to footway. Line of kerb set back so as to widen and greatly
improve the carriage roadway.
Loughborough Street. New 12×6 granite kerb, and tar p[aving laid to footways.
Wynyard Street.
Esher Street.
Royal Street.—Old kerb jointed, back jointed and set, and
tar paving laid to footways
Wynne Road and Knoelr Road .
Stafford Road,Brixton. New 12×6lerd, and 2½ York paving
laid to footways, and the road ways made up and metalled at the cost of owners.
South Island Place.—New 6 in. edge granite kerb, and tar
paving laid to footways.
Foxley Road.—Old kerb dressed, jointed, and re-set, and made
good with new Purbeck, the footways laid with tar paving.
Saint Mark's Road.
Bolton Street.
Thomas Street. New granite kerb, and tar paving to
Hereford Street footways.
Beresford Place.
Smith Street.
Camden Hill Villas.—New granite kerb, and tar paving to
footways; the road made up, reformed, and metalled.
Duke Street. New 12 x 6 granite kerb, and York
Prince's Street. paving to footways, and 4x7 carriage
Stamford Street. J way paving to channels.
Thomas Street and Place.- Old paving and kerb laid to footways,
roadway made up and repaired.
