BAKE-HOUSES.
"The Bake-house Regulation Act" (26th and 27th
Vict., cap. 40) was passed on the 13th July, 1863. All the
Bakeries, 203 in number, were visited by the Medical Officer,
—111 whereof required improvement. The Bakers and
Confectioners readily performed what was required of them,
and the whole of the Bake-houses were put into a satisfactory
state under the supervision of the Inspectors of Nuisances.
