There is not sufficient ventilation owing to the house
being so built in.
The walls are damp.

(4) To the Vestry of the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town.
Gentlemen,
I beg to report to you under the Artizans and Labourers'
Dwellings' Act, of 1868, the premises known as No. 6,
White Horse Court, White Horse Lane, "which are in
such a condition dangerous to health so as to be unfit for
human habitation " for the following reasons:—
There is not sufficient light to the ground floor rooms.
There is not sufficient ventilation owing to the house
being so built in.
The Court is so built in at each end as to prevent
proper ventilation to the house.
