[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Hamlet of Mile End Old Town]

amounting in the aggregate to £ 11,800, and your Clerk
having received replies thereto, submitted same to your Committee
as follows:

The Liverpool & London & Globe Insurance Co. 13 11 9
The Manchester Fire Insurance Co. 14 18 9
The Royal Insurance Co. 11 12 6
The County Fire Office 10143
A return of premium payable at the end of every seven
years (provided no claim has been made on the policy,) of
£15, is also offered by the last named Office.
That your Committee resolved to recommend—That the
tender of The County Fire Office be accepted, and that your
Committee be authorised to make a division of the sum into
several policies as they may deem best.

IV. The Clerk submitted Precept in duplicate upon the
Overseers requiring them to raise and pay over by the times
therein mentioned the sum of £17,500 for General Purposes,
£2,030 for Lighting, and £1,375 for the purposes of Sewers.
And also submitted order or Precept in duplicate to the Overseers
to raise and pay over for the Metropolitan Consolidated
Rate £3,541 3 1
Moved by Mr. Lacey seconded by Mr. R. Kemp and resolved—That
the seal of the Vestry be affixed to the several
Precepts in duplicate.
The seal of the Vestry was affixed thereto accordingly.
V. The Report of Committee No. 2 was brought up and
read by the Clerk as follows :

For Highways, Paving, Lighting and Watering.
Wednesday, 3rd April, 1889.
Your Committee beg to report that they met on Thursday,
the 28th day of March ultimo, there being present
Messrs. Loftus, Calton, Druitt, Rogers, Collier, W. A. Kemp,
and Mardorf.
That your Surveyor brought up and read a Report for
which your Committee beg to refer your Board to his Report
Book.
(1) That your Clerk read a letter from the Limehouse District
Board of Works as follows:
