Gentlemen,
I have again the pleasure of placing before
you a statement of the various works carried out in
my department for the past year.
Paving.
The additional quantity of 35,754 ft. Super, of 3 inch
paving, and 10,000 feet Super, of 2½ inch paving, have
been laid during the year. The three inch paving
being laid in Burdett Road, Coborn Road, Alderney
Road, Grafton Street, Colmer Street, York Street, Norfolk
Street, and Tollit Street.
The old kerb in the line of these roads was reset.
The total cost of these works which were executed under
contract with Mr. West, was 1,3921, l1s. 10d.
