Fulham Babies' Hospital, Lindsay House, Broomhouse
Road.—The following is a summary of the work of the
hospital during 1921:—
In hospital, January 1st, 1921 14
Number of babies admitted 188
Average duration of stay 22 days.
Number of cases discharged:—
(a) In good health 128
(b) Improved 22
(c) No improvement 10
(d) On account of the development of infectious
disease, viz. Whooping Cough 7
Number of deaths 20
In hospital, December 31st, 1921 15
The hospital was closed for seven weeks in May and
June owing to some of the floors having to be relaid on
account of dry rot. 34 more children were admitted
than in 1920, but the hospital was again not used to its
full capacity,the averagedaily number in the wards during
the 45 weeks it was open being only 12, while there are
2 1 cots.
Fulham Day Nursery.—The attendances during the
year were:—

the Day Nursery, resolved to increase their annual
