This subject of the Hushing and cleansing of the sewers has continued to
receive a large amount of attention from the Vestry during the year, and a
ganger and men are continually employed cleansing the brick sewers belonging
to the Vestry, and in cleansing and Hushing the pipe sewers.

SUNDAY WATERING.
When the weather renders it necessary, the main roads in this Parish
are watered on Sunday mornings and afternoons, and 159 horses have been
engaged during the season.
