CONSTRUCTION OF NEW STREETS.
In accordance with Bye-laws made by the late Metropolitan Board of
Works, all persons intending forming or laying out new streets are required
to give four weeks written notice, stating the proposed level and width, &c.
The requirements of the Board are that all streets intended for carriage
traffic, shall be 40 feet in width exclusive of any gardens, forecourts, open
areas, or other spaces, and every such street shall have two entrances of
the full width.

The following additional apportionments have been sealed, the roads having exceeded the original estimate:—
