That the consent of the Vestry be, and is hereby
given to the making of the Tramway towards Forest hill,
as described in the Bill of the London, Camberwell and
Dulwich Tramways' Company, at present before
Parliament, and to the maintenance and use of the
Tramway already constructed from Queen's road Station
to Bye lane, as proposed by Clause 25 of the said Bill.
TRAMWAYS.
With respect to those Tramway lines which were
reported last year as being certified ready for public traffic
they remain unopened and unused, being more or less
dependent upon the additional powers sought for in the
present Session of Parliament.
CANTERBURY ROAD BRIDGE.
The Bill authorizing the construction of this Bridge, which
was contained in the Metropolitan Board of Works (Various
Powers) Bill, 1887, having passed through Parliament, the
Metropolitan Board communicated to this Vestry on the 11th
October last, that they had resolved to proceed with the work
upon the following conditions:—
"That the Landowners give up the Land required
for the Bridge and approaches; that the Local
Authorities, and the Landowners contribute £6,000, and
that an agreement be entered into for carrying out the
arrangement."
