1887-88,
ANALYST'S REPORTS.
Chemical Labobatory,
St. Thomas's Hospital,
Medical and Surgical College, S.E.
June 21th, 1887.
To the Vestry of Camber well,
Gentlemen,
I have to render a much more favourable report, and I do so
with pleasure.
Of twenty-three Milks, only three were adulterated with, respectively,
9, 23 and 15 per cent. of water. I do not say that
others were not adulterated, but these three were the only ones
which could have been prosecuted.
Of seven Butters, one was admixed with fat, other than butterfat,
to the extent of over 50 per cent.
