existing lamps reducing the distances between the same, and
thereby more efficiently lighting the localities so dealt with.

In addition to the ordinary lamps the following ornamental
and central lamps are lighted by the South Metropolitan
Gas Company.
1 at Peckham rye, west side, at junction with Barry
road.
1 at Goose green, at junction of roads, next Lordship
lane.
1 at Knatchbull road, opposite Flodden road.
And also ten special lamps of various power, viz.:
1 obelisk at Camberwell green Urinal.
1 „ at Hill street Urinal.
1 Bigg's patent in Church street.
5 Bray's „ at Camberwell green.
1 „ „ High street, Peckham, at foot of Rye
lane.
1 Bray's patent at Church street, next Camberwell
grove.
