This work has been contracted for, but has resulted in an
increase of expenditure in this department against that of
last year, which was an average cost of 3s. 9d. per load of
collection and removal. Nearly the entire collection has had
to be barged away at a cost of about 1s. 6d. per load,
resulting in the cost averaging 4s. 4d. per load, as against
the above quoted last year's cost of 3s. 9d., and which
expense will be further augmented in the forthcoming year
by an additional 1s. per load for barging only.
This increased cost of the Dust removal is becoming
serious. A Sub-Committee of the Sewers and Sanitary
Department has the matter under their consideration, and
the Surveyor is also engaged in making lull enquiries into
the various methods of the disposal of house refuse, &c.
All this will be fully reported on to the Vestry as soon
as practicable.

districts. The annual charge for the water is £6 each
Urinal. The following are the respective localities in which
such Urinals are situate:—
