LINES OF FRONTAGE, PROJECTIONS, &c.
The Metropolitan Board of Works have submitted for
the opinion of the Vestry 17 applications for lines of frontage,
Projections, &c., which have been examined and reported
upon by the Surveyor; the Vestry recommended
approval of 31 and refusal of 8 cases. The Metropolitan
Board of Works subsequently notified its consent to 9 and
refusal of 8 cases.
FIRE ESCAPE NEAR CAMBERWELL GREEN.
This Escape, formerly arranged to be placed on private
ground in front of the "Red Cap" P. H., has now, by
arrangement between the Vestry and the Metropolitan
Board of Works, been placed in the open thoroughfare
next the Urinal at lower end of Denmark Hill, side of
Cabmen's Shelter.
DRINKING FOUNTAINS AND CATTLE TROUGHS.

The several Drinking Fountains and Cattle Troughs in the parish, as under, are maintained by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountains Association, the Vestry contributing £5 per annum towards the cost of the water supply.
