The Committee, by direction of the Vestry have
also under consideration the question of adopting
electricity for street lighting. This will form the
subject of a report to the Vestry after full information
has been obtained on the matter.

FORMATION OF NEW STREETS.
The Metropolitan Board of Works has consulted
the Vestry upon 6 applications for sanction to the
formation of 24 New Streets within this Parish. Each
application having been examined into and reported
upon by the Surveyor, the Vestry recommended 4,
and disapproved 2. The Metropolitan Board of
Works subsequently notified its approval of 3
applications, for 13 Roads.
LINES OF FRONTAGE, PROJECTIONS, See.
The Metropolitan Board of Works also submitted
for the opinion of the Vestry 53 applications for
Lines of Frontage, Projections, &c. Each case was
examined and reported upon by the Surveyor; the
