present uncertainty, from the fact that most of the
shoots formerly available are now filled up (that of
Maismore Square, which has been in use for the
last two years, having been closed at Lady-day last).
The debris has to be carted to more distant spots,
and even these are fast failing as practicable
means of disposal, and therefore ere long the
Parishioners will have to bear the extra cost
incident on this head of Vestry expenditure, which
from the above named causes is yearly on the
increase. A special Committee has this subject
under their anxious consideration.

PARLIAMENTARY DEPOSITATIONS.
Session, 1882.
The following reports upon Railways, Tramway,
and other schemes were presented by your Surveyor,
and was fully considered by the Vestry, with instruction
to the Officers to see that all necessary
clauses and conditions were introduced to protect
the public rights.
The Metropolitan Board of Works also have
been communicated with to this purpose.
