HOUSE DRAINAGE.
The number of Houses drained into Sewers
under the direction of the Vestry, during the past
year is as follows, viz.: —
Houses permanently drained 1,568
DUST REMOVAL
Phis work continued as last year, is carried
on under the direction of the Sewers Committee
and its Dust Sub-Committee, by the staff, and
with the plant, horses, &c., belonging to the Vestry.
The regular house-to-house collection at stated days of
the week in each respective district is also continued
and works satisfactorily.
The number of horses and carts so employed
was 15.
