SLOPPING AND WATERING.
This work has in the past year been carried out
with the Yestry Plant and appliances, with the same
satisfactory result as previously reported.
The quantity of slop removed from the Roads
under charge of the Vestry during the past year was
28,588 loads.
The Plant in use by the Vestry for this Department
during the year 1880-81 was as follows:—

Material Carts 32
Slop Carts 40
Road (Horse) Brooms 4
Horse Road Roller 1
This has been supplemented for the increased
work to be performed in 1881-2, and the Plant as
now provided is:—
