REPORT
UPON THE WORK OF
SLOPPING, WATERING,
PLANT FOR THE SAME, &c.
This Report will explain the action taken
during the Twelve Months ending March 25th, 1878,
shewing the Plant which has been purchased, the
expense of maintenance and incidental charges;
with a comparison of the cost under the past and
present systems of carrying out these works.

For Stables,
pranary, &c.
The Stabling and other accommodation has been
provided by renting Six arches of the London
Brighton and South Coast Railway Company, situate
between Victoria and Lyndhurst Roads, Peckham.
Arch No. 235 next adjoining (west) to Victoria Road
is fitted up as a Granary, and Hay and Straw Store;
within this Arch the Horse food is stored, and the
Chaff cutting is carried on ; it also contains a Storeroom
for Harness, Shovels, Picks, Brooms, and
other Tools.
