Arches Nos. 236 and 237 are fitted up as Stables
for 28 Horses. Arches Nos. 239 and 240 are
similarly appropriated, accommodating 22 Horses.
The total Stable accommodation is for 50 Horses.

Mem :—Arch No. 238 is at present occupied
by a Tenant of the Railway Company: it
however being considered necessary to the
completion of the Stable accommodation that
this Arch should be also acquired, on the 27th
March last, authority was given to make an
arrangement for this purpose which will no
doubt shortly be carried out. This will provide
an uninterrupted occupation of the Six
Arches situate between Lyndhurst and Victoria
Roads, and will materially add to the
general convenience.

The south side of these Arches is bounded by a
spacious and well-paved yard, and convenient shed
along its entire length for storing the Carts and
Vans not in use.
