This amount of £7,180 fairly represents the
cost as it would have appeared under the Contracting
system.
The result, therefore, is broadly as follows:—
Under the previous System
the cost of the work for the year
ending Ladyday, 1878, would have
been £7,180
The ascertained cost of this
work as done by Vestry is £7,500
but from this sum of £7,500 must
