IMPROVEMENTS.
Widening Streets at
HIGH STREET, CAMBERWELL,
CHURCH STREET,
HIGH STREET, PECKHAM.
In respect to the above Improvements, steps
have been taken by the Metropolitan Board of
Works to carry out the same. A Bill has been
introduced into Parliament, and the most sanguine
anticipations of the Public will in all probability be
realised in respect to these great Public Improvements.
GROVE VALE, NEAR GOOSE GREEN.
The Improvements preliminarily reported upon
last year have been carried out, with much advantage
to the locality.
FOREST HILL ROAD.
From Peckham Rye to near the Parish Boundary at the Honor Oak.
The Improvement of decreasing the gradient of
the Hill has been carried out, as anticipated in the
last Report. This work has given much satisfaction.
