The increase which has taken place in the entire parish has been shared, though in unequal degrees, by its component parts, as may be seen by the following tables; the first relating to the populations of the sub-districts, as ascertained at the censuses of 1851, 1861, and 1871; the second to the houses which were built and in process of building at those dates:—
