SPECIFIC FEBRILE OR ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
The total number of deaths from this group of diseases was 575,
nearly eighteen per cent, of the total deaths from all causes. Of
these deaths 295 were amongst young children under five years of
age, 154 of whom were infants.
