HOUSES.
Since the last list was published the following orders
have been made by tho Metropolitan Board of Works:-
STREETS RE-NAMED.
Cross street (Hassard street), now Hassard place, E.
Cross street (Jacobs street), now Jacobs place, E.
Camden street, now Ainsley street, E.
George street (Turin street), now Cymon street, E.
King street (Viaduct street), now Viaduct place, E.
Pleasant place (Bonner street), now Hersee place, E.
Queen street (Viaduct street), now Weldon street, E.
Street (unnamed) leading from Grove road to Kenilworth road,
Bunsen street, E.
STREETS RE-NAMED AND RE-NUMBERED.
London street (Hackney road), now Ropley street, E.

In all, orders have been given for the re-naming of 11
streets, and re-numbering of 366 houses.
MISCELLANEOUS.
Perhaps one of the most important matters which has
occupied the attention of the Vestry and its officers
during the year, has been the enquiry held by Messrs,
D. Cubitt Nicholls and Shirley F. Murphy, Inspectors
appointed by the Home Secretary, associated with
Messrs. C. Forrest and J. G. Hilditch, on behalf of the
Vestry, into the sanitary condition of the Parish. Your
Surveyor attended all the meetings of tho Inspectors,
and also accompanied them on their inspections, and
