The northern end of Usk street has been paved withUsk street.
pitchings from stock, at a cost of £45 7s. 7d.
The carriageway over the skew Bridge, Old Ford old Ford
road, has been paved with pitchings from stock, at a
cost of £177 7s. 9d.
The Vestry having passed a resolution to pave with
granite cubes the carriageway of Wilmot street, the
School Board for London made representations as to the
inconvenience which would be caused by the noise
of the traffic passing the school, and asked that the
street might be paved with wood. The Vestry feeling
themselves unable to comply with this request rescinded
the resolution to pave the street with granite cubes, and
ordered that it should bo made up with macadam and
steam rolled.

The footway by the side of the Board School in
Jacobs street and leading from Jacobs street to Castle
street having been widened by the School Board for
London, the footways abutting on the school premises
have been paved with Victoria stone, as agreed.

The land formerly occupied by a Baker's shop at the
corner of Prince's court and Gosset street having been
given up, the whole of the court has been paved with
Victoria paving, in accordance with the agreement.

The carriageways of Cheshire street, Pollard's place,
and Brick lane (North of Virginia road), have been
paved with second-hand 3-in. by 7-in. pitchings on
concrete, the cost being—
