Combined Child Health and Immunisation Clinics
For some time it has been realised that many children only attend child
health centres for immunisation and are consequently never medically examined
at the centre nor is their progress noted in the medical record. To achieve
the medical examination of as great a number of children as possible it was
decided therefore to operate a pilot scheme of combined child health and
immunisation clinics at Shoreditch Health Centre and the Goodwill Centre,
the principal objects being:-
1. to ensure that at a child's attendance for immunisation its general
physical and mental progress is observed by the doctor and noted
in the medical record.
