SMALLPOX No case of smallpox occurred.
INTERNATIONAL SANITARY REGULATIONS (WHO Regulations No 2). International
Certificates of vaccination against Smallpox to the number of 733 16 against
Cholera 4 against Tetanus and 2 against Typhoid were duly authenticated
WHOOPING COUGH. The number of cases notified was 273 as compared with 59 in
1962 and 34 in 1961

The four specimens of faeces submitted which were positive for salmonella
paratyphi were in respect of two chronic carriers from whom specimens of
urine and faeces are submitted for examination 'every three months
In addition to the above 2 samples of food were submitted for
bacteriological examination in connection with the investigation of cases of
food poisoning, food complaints etc.
