SMALLPOX. No case of smallpox occurred and there were no contacts requiring
surveillance.
INTERNATIONAL SANITARY REGULATIONS (WHO Regulations No. 2). During the
year, 625 International Certificates of vaccination against Smallpox, 6 against
Cholera and one against Typhoid Fever, were duly authenticated.
WHOOPING COUGH The number of cases notified was 326 as compared with 36
in 1959 and 79 in 1958

PUBLIC HEALTH BACTERIOLOGY The 1,976 specimens submitted for examination to the Public Health Laboratory were reported on as follows:-
