PUERPERAL PYREXIA. The 132 cases of Puerperal Pyrexia were associated
with hospital confinements, but 89 only related to Hackney residents.
SCARLET FEVER. Notifications of this disease numbered 128 as compared with
166 in the previous year and 179 in 1958, 30 cases were admitted to hospital.
