The total deaths from malignant disease at all ages were 395. |
There was one death from measles and one from whooping cough; two children under
the age of two years died from diseases of the gastro intestinal tract. The one death
shown by the Registrar General under the heading "Acute Poliomyelitis" was in fact certified
to be due to "Toxaemia and Encephalitis".
