Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1925.
These Regulations have been found helpful from a preventative
point of view in dissuading persons known to be tuberculous from
entering the milk trade, and inducing relatives of persons engaged in
the milk trade from refusing institutional treatment. It has fortunately
not been necessary to take formal action under these Regulations
or to serve notices, as required under Section 5.
One patient who had been employed as a milk roundsman
changed his occupation on his return from institutional treatment to
that of a carman, and was then not concerned in any way with milk
distribution.
Chemical and Bacteriological Examination of Food.
Laboratories at which work is carried out:—Royal Institute of
Public Health, Camberwell Research Laboratories, and the Laboratory
of the Public Analyst.
