as she continued to sell "prohibited articles" at her shop, the
application for registration could not be granted, but in the event
of her discontinuing the sale of loose milk and selling sealed
bottles of milk only, no objection would be raised.
Milk and Dairies Order, 1926, made under Milk and Dairies
(Consolidation) Act, 1915.—Under this Act 6 applications were
made by retailers, from whom samples of milk had been procured,
to have samples of milk taken from their respective wholesalers
in the course of delivery to them. In 5 cases no action was taken
as the retailers' samples were certified to be genuine. In the other
case the Analyst reported the sample to be 16% deficient in fat, and
the vendor requested a sample to be taken in course of transit from
his wholesaler. Two samples were procured both of which were
found to be genuine.
