Child Welfare Centre in place of the smaller treatment centre that
it was proposed to erect at Millfields Road, and by proposing- the
installation of ihe extra clinics at No. 28, Lower Clapton Road,
instead of at premises rented for that purpose.
Particulars of the extension are as follows:—
(1) An increased contribution of £50 per annum to the
King's Home for Nurses, for nursing assistance.
(2) The appointment of an additional Fifth Class Clerk,
and the promotion of Mr. H. C. Bowman from Class 4 to
Class 2; the additional salary required amounting to £180
per annuim.
(3) The appointment of four additional Health Visitors, the
total additional salaries amounting to £980 per annum.
(4) (a) The transfer from the Electricity Department to
this Department of No. 28, Lower Clapton Road, at the sum
of £1,771, the annual loan charge on this amount (30 years
at 4f per cent.) being £111.
(b) The provision of equipment at an estimated cost of
£416.
(c) An estimated expenditure upon rates and taxes at the
rate of £70 per annum.
(5) The appointment of a Resident Caretaker at a salary
(including value of emoluments) of £234 10s. 0d. per annum.
(6) The provision of two Welfare, two Ante-Natal, one
Dental, and one Light Treatment Clinic, at an expenditure
of £680 per annum.
