The fees which doctors in this Borough think they should receive for their services, in connection with domiciliary treatment are as follows:—

Consultation at Doctor's surgery or residence26
Visit to patient's home26
Injection of tuberculin26
Quarterly report as per circular of Local Government Board50
Night visits to patient's home between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.50

These fees do not include the cost of medicine, nor tuberculin;
but in the interest of the patient himself, I am of opinion that fees
should be increased sixpence each to include medicine. I am of
opinion that the doctor who finds it necessary to inject tuberculin
should supply this also. I therefore suggest that sixpence to include
tuberculin be added to the fee for injection.
It will happen that reports will be required from the medical
practitioner at more frequent intervals than quarterly. Indeed'
