75 and 85 there were as many as 267 deaths or 7.6 per cent.,
and 60 or 17 per cent, above 85 years of ago. As before
stated, under 5 years of age there were 39.5 per cent, of the total
deaths; between 5 and 35 years only 15 4 per cent., between 35
and 65 25.2 per cent., and above 65 years 19.9 per cent.
Taking the ages above 80 there were 21 at 80.81 years, 27 at
81.82 years, 19 at 82.82 years, as many as 26 at 83.84 years,
11 at 84.85 years; 13 at 85.86 years; 5 at 86.87 years, 4 at
87.88 years, 11 at 88.89 years, 7 at 89.90 years, 5 at 90.91
4 at 91.92 years, 1 at 92.93 years, 2 at 95.96 years, 1 at 96.97
years, and 1 just under 100 years of age.

2. Includes Phthisis, Scrofula, Rickets. Tubes Mesenterica, and deaths registered as being
caused by Hydrocephalus in children more than one year old.

5. Includes Marasmus, Atrophy and Debility, want of Breast Milk, and Premature Birth.
It may be noticed that the deaths from zymotic do not
correspond in number with those in the former table, the reason
being that those in Order 1, which are mostly infectious
diseases, are alone included in this table. The number was
